Return & Refund Policy

At Steermaster, we build customized automotive hardware designed to match your specific vehicle. Because our steering wheels are bespoke creations, we balance customer satisfaction with the realities of custom fabrication. Please review our terms regarding cancellations, refunds, and warranties below.

Returns Policy

  • We accept returns for defective products only. If your product arrives with a manufacturing defect, cosmetic defect out of the box, or incorrect custom options, you are eligible for a return and replacement/refund.
  • We do not accept returns or refunds for non-defective products or change-of-mind purchases.
  • All return requests for defective items must be made within 14 days of receiving your order.

Exchanges Policy

  • Yes, we accept exchanges! If you ordered the wrong version or need a different fitment configuration, you can request an exchange.
  • To be eligible for an exchange, the product must be in brand new, completely uninstalled condition, and in its original packaging.
  • Exchange requests must be submitted within 14 days of delivery. The customer is responsible for shipping costs for non-defective exchanges.

Order Cancellations

  • Cancellations or modifications to custom configurations (e.g., stitching color, leather choice) are accepted free of charge within 24 hours of order placement.
  • After 24 hours, custom fabrication begins, and cancellations will incur a 30% materials and restocking fee.
  • Contact us immediately via WhatsApp with your order number to request cancellations or updates.

Warranty & Fitment Guarantee

  • All our steering wheels include a 1-Year Warranty covering carbon fiber yellowing/peeling, clear coat cracks, and stitching defects.
  • If installed at our workshop, we provide a Lifetime Fitment Guarantee to ensure all heating, vibrating, and button controls work.
  • Warranty is voided if the product is damaged due to neglect, collision, or improper self-installation.

Important Notice on DIY Installation

Steering wheel replacements require careful handling of safety electronics, heating elements, and SRS airbags. If you choose to perform the installation yourself or use an unauthorized third-party shop, we cannot cover warranty issues arising from wiring faults, fitment slips, or airbag warning lights. We highly recommend booking fitment at our Kuala Lumpur/Selangor workshop.
